This little dress and I have had a love-hate relationship but I think I’ve finally figured it out. I was recently on the hunt for some easy, cheap, sundresses with a decent hem length that I could just throw on. This dress, from Versona, was a winner. It was different from everything I had, was cute and started off with a nice length…until it shrunk.
I must note that I am very careful about how I wash my clothes. If it is not hand washed or sent to the cleaners it goes through the delicate cycle and then is lined dried, but somehow this dress still got shorter. I tried to stretch it out and with no such luck, figured I would just never get to wear it again…FRUSTRATING!!
However, I was playing around with my clothes and found that it looked adorable over top of a pair of light blue cotton shorts. The slight blue hem of the shorts from underneath the dress was playful and super different. Once I had on my lace up Lyla sandals from Sole Society, I had a look I loved and was comfortable in.
I paired the outfit with some fun pink shades, a Bourbon and Bowties saber tooth cuff and my daily bracelet stack for an afternoon on Bardstown Road eating my favorite vegan food and enjoying a popsicle from Steel City Pops.
