Silk Scarves are popping up all over the place. Worn wrapped around the wrist, tied in the hair, as an accessory for a purse, or around the neck like I have pictured here, they’re trending! Silk scarves are easily one of my longtime favorite accessories. Ever since flipping through a book of Jackie Kennedy’s best fashion moments as a little girl, I have longed for the day when this accessory would be a necessity for completing a woman’s outfit. They’re both classic and classy, girly, and simply fun!
Here I styled this red and blue floral scarf with a white eyelet blouse, denim skirt, and nude wedges for a trip to Lexington to visit the historic Calumet Farm. Far before I had any interest in race horses I had an admiration for Calumet, their red roofs, white fences, rolling hills and long history. It was really neat to get to see the farm from inside the closed gates, walk through the graveyard of champions and see how the operation is running today.
