Feeling a little tired of sweaters I decided to pull out my fur vest and pair it with a few of my winter favorites. The weather in Kentucky was beautiful this weekend, with significantly warmer temperatures and sunshine, so this made the perfect outfit to enjoy it in. I raved about how much I love this vest earlier this winter in this post HERE, but the outfit pictured is just another reason why. This vest is so versatile. I previously had it styled it in a dressier, simpler outfit, but today I am wearing it super casually and with other prints.
I bought this plaid shirt earlier this winter and have gotten a ton of use out of it. It has a flattering feminine cut to it, which I love and a great window pane print that keeps it from looking like a checkered table cloth. The navy and red were the perfect combination of complimentary and contrasting colors for these olive utility pants that I absolutely adore!!! While they have that edgy, rugged look to them, they are as soft and as comfortable as pants could possibly be. With interesting mid-calf stitching and great front zipper detailing, you couldn’t ask for more in a cargo pant.
I accessorized with Bauble Bar double sided pearl studs, a tortoise rhinestone necklace and some Dolce Vita suede booties. The pearl earrings and ‘blingy’ necklace added that girly pop the outfit needed, while the suede booties continued the rugged theme and added one more dimension of texture.
