Dairy Del: Louisville’s Hidden Soft Serve Gem

Never, ever, would anyone ever think that hidden between the blocks of industrial buildings and night clubs on Louisville’s Seventh Street that there would be an old fashioned ice cream shop. Dairy Del is by far the best soft serve I’ve ever had and its just as cheap as it is tasty. As soon as you arrive you feel as if you’ve walked onto the set of a movie where neighborhood kids bike together to get their $0.25 cent ice cream cone after baseball practice on a hot summer night. securedownload-1

At the charming dairy dell you can expect to place your order through a window much like the kind you would have at your house. The menu has everything from hot dogs, to cheese fries to root beer floats, I recommend the orange sherbet. SO GOOD!! Once, you get your order you can eat at the cute red picnic tables that surround the side of the building.
