An Easter Sunday Look

Whether Easter means a morning of egg hunting and candy eating or an afternoon of brunching with the family, it is a great time to pull out some of your Spring best. I am wearing this very “Springy” casual look for Easter this year. Colored jeans are one of my favorite ways to pull an outfit together, make it a little more playful and dress it up. They also scream spring, but are great for summer and fall. That is why I chose this seafoam green pair to go with this adorable floral, flutter sleeve top. Flutter sleeves seem to be really popular this year, as they are everywhere I look. But hey, they are pretty cute. I went with tan accessories to keep things subtle and that meant wearing a vintage Coach crossbody and my favorite pair of Tory Burch flats.

This Easter I am going to my Aunt’s house where my entire extended family will be gathering for a cook out and a Easter egg hunt. I can specifically remember two Easters growing up that both involved Easter egg hunting. One when I was super young, believed in the Easter bunny and woke up to a backyard covered in eggs. I thought it was the most unbelievable thing ever. The other was when I was a bit older. I spent several holidays at my best friend’s house (we were inseparable), and they had a Easter egg hunt that involved money. $5’s, $10’s, $20’s, and a special $50 hidden here and there. It was pretty awesome…. But even at 20 years old I still find it fun to hunt for an egg every now and then ;)

Happy Easter everyone!
